"He is Goro Watari! This is getting interesting~ Banbara~"
―Water Banbara[src]

Water Banbara (ミズバンバラ Mizu Banbara?) is the second assassin of the Neo-Human Empire.

Powers and abilities[]

The second-in-command of the Neo-Human Empire, who plans to discover and obtain information about Midori Egawa, a member of the Junior Alliance who has memorized the names and addresses of all alliance members throughout Japan.

Characterized by a form that combines rocky reefs covered in aquatic plants with water, he can infiltrate anywhere with water, changing his appearance to red water, aquatic plants, or rain, and has the ability to submerge specific locations in water.

Creating rain in enclosed spaces like tunnels or indoors is a piece of cake. He is not just about trying to drown Gosaku Marume by forming puddles as deep as a local pond, but he also demonstrates his power by smashing a steel bridge with the water pressure from heavy rain when Goro Watari pursued him with Raijingo. Moreover, the puddles generated by this ability leave absolutely no traces, which puzzled Gousaku.

Water Banbara wields water as a weapon, using his abilities such as Water Shibari (水縛り Mizu Shibari?, lit. "Water Binding") to extend aquatic plants from his body to bind his opponent, Water Jet (水ジェット Mizu Jetto?) to shoot high-pressure water, and as a secret weapon, he can generate Water Tornado (水竜巻 Mizu Tatsumaki?), a powerful whirlwind of water. Displaying the characteristics of an evil superhuman, he showcases the ability to move a city bus, which should have exited a tunnel, to the seabed.

Weaknesses[]

Despite possessing such formidable superhuman abilities, his favored water-based attacks are easily countered using Reverse Chest technique in the story. His efforts to drown Gosaku Marume in a puddle are thwarted when Raijingo comes to the rescue, indicating a significant struggle against Inazuman.

History[]

To abduct Midori Egawa, a superhuman who possesses the personal information of the nationwide Junior Alliance members, Water Banbara subjected the bus she was on to a water attack. Using teleportation, Midori managed to survive, and later attempted to carry out the kidnapping by appearing from a hospital faucet after being transported there. However, her kidnapping plans are thwarted by Inazuman and Gosaku Marume, who intervene to rescue Midori.

Subsequently, he succeeded in kidnapping Midori after persistently targeting her, having previously abducted her parents. Attempting to extract information about the Junior Alliance by holding her parents hostage, he were ultimately thwarted by Goro, who had earlier toppled a bridge. An attempt to collapse a dam using telekinesis was reversed by Inazuman's Restore Chest technique that prevailed in their superhuman clash.

Water Banbara engaged in a battle using his secret weapon, the Water Tornado, but were defeated by Inazuman's Inazuma Kenpo Cartwheel.

Trivia[]

  • Interestingly, despite being a water-based creature, Water Banbara is not shown to be defeated by electric shock-based attacks during his appearances.
